Tapping into the bloggers, influencers and start-up culture our blogger outreach services worked alongside wider campaign activity to drive awareness and attendance of Virgin Start-ups road shows.
Virgin Start-Up, a not-for-profit organisation helping small businesses get funding, resources and advice, wanted to publicise its 2014 nationwide Hothouse tour and increase its visibility among young entrepreneurs.
To find city based entrepreneurs already operating in the business areas Virgin were looking for. We conducted interviews to help us create the digital press packs that looked both at the UK-wide picture and shared news and information specific to each stop-off point. The interviews formed the core of the work proved to be very popular with local media. Not only did we get coverage in news sites the full length of the country – from the Edinburgh Reporter to the Bristol Post – but this was then shared widely across social media by entrepreneurs’ networks on Facebook and Twitter.
